Founder of Mija Fitness / Boxing Coach
Monique Flores
Monique Flores has been boxing since 2017, and what began as her personal journey quickly turned into a mission.
In 2021, she founded Mija Fitness, the only women-only boxing community of its kind in Los Angeles.
Her approach blends traditional Mexican boxing with a women-centered perspective that builds both skill and confidence.
Through the Mija Coaching Academy, Monique teaches not just mittwork and technique, but leadership, trust, and presence.
For her, boxing is about creating coaches who lead from the inside out—with discipline, community, and heart.
